O'Neil Web Works is a small website design business based in Leesburg, Virginia committed to helping you promote your small business, enhance your company's visibility on the internet, and meet your needs at a price you can afford. We communicate with our clients in straightforward, simple terms, tailor your website to your specific requirements and provide as much or as little assistance, training and support as you need.
Diana O'Neil has managed the financial, marketing and information technology areas of O'Neil Architects since 1999. During this time, she has regularly maintained and updated the company website, and has been asked to create and maintain the websites of other small businesses. Identifying a need for affordable, local, small business web design and maintenance, she started O'Neil Web Works in 2011.
Diana received her Masters of Business Administration from the George Washington University in 1985, and had worked for IBM for 12 years prior to working with O'Neil Architects. At IBM she served as a software usability engineer, working to design PC-based user interfaces that were easy to learn and easy to use . Diana's work at IBM required her to become very familiar with the workings of a structured markup language very similar to HTML (the main markup language for web pages). Usability engineering and familiarity with markup languages turned out to be perfect training for web design and development. Additionally, over the past 12 years of running a business, she has learned the many facets of operating a small business, giving her special insight into their unique needs and constraints.
Diana will put all of these skills to good use in creating your website, from defining the goals and scope of the site, through developing the navigation structure, design elements and content, all the way through to publishing and maintaining the site.
